Request storage¶
This form is used to request storage on Apocrita, it will be received by the Research Storage Team who will evaluate the request.
Account Required
To request storage on Apocrita, you must already have a valid account. Please click here to request one.
Globus
Globus lets you share data with collaborators at other research institutions, whether your data exists on Apocrita or a Laptop/PC. You can read more about Globus here, and via these tutorials.
Cost
Research groups can request a project share. The initial 1TB is free. Any storage over 1TB will be charged at £75 per TB per year.
If data is used infrequently, it may be eligible for archive storage. This costs £15 per TB per year.
We recommend that you estimate how much data you expect to process over the duration of your project. You can then calculate the cost using our cost calculator.
