Citing Apocrita and acknowledging ITS Research in publications

Acknowledging in your research output any assistance you receive from ITS Research and your use of the computing services we provide, upholds our business case for continued funding of the service and the team which supports it.

Citing Apocrita

Published research which has used the Apocrita HPC system and/or Research Data Storage should reference this facility using the following text:

This research utilised Queen Mary's Apocrita HPC facility, supported by QMUL Research-IT. http://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.438045

Please note that the old Apocrita citation referring to “MidPLUS cluster, EPSRC grant no. EP/K000128/1” is obsolete and should no longer be used.

Acknowledging support from ITS Research

Further, if during the course of the work you were assisted directly by ITS Research then we should be grateful for a separate acknowledgement of the team. This should be in addition to any use of the above text.

To acknowledge the ITS Research team more widely, we suggest the following text:

We acknowledge the assistance of the ITS Research team at Queen Mary University of London.

To acknowledge the Research Software Engineering team in ITS Research, we suggest the following text:
